Two Young Candidates Make City Council

PRINCE GEORGE – Both Kyle Sampson and Cori Ramsay are the new faces at the city council table, and both represent a younger population of the city. 

Sampson was second in the voting with 8,304 votes while Ramsay was 8th overall with 5,693 votes. The two new faces will replace the vacated seats by Albert Koelher and Jillian Merrick. 

There will also be some familiar faces returning to Council Chambers. All five incumbent candidates have been re-elected. They are Brian Skakun leading with 9,475 votes, Garth Frizzell ( 8,199), Murry Krause ( 8,008), Susan Scott (7,775), Terri McConnachie (7,111) and Frank Everitt ( 6,680).

Councillors will be sworn in at 6 p.m. on November 5th.
