PRINCE GEORGE — Festivities will be aplenty to celebrate Canada’s 151st birthday Sunday at the L’heidli Tenneh Memorial Park.

Those attending can expect all the usual celebration including live entertainment at the bandshell through the day capped off with evening fireworks at 11 pm. There will be plenty to chose from at the food booths, along with a few new tasty additions.

The Multicultural heritage society has been working hard to make sure its a day the whole family will enjoy.

To skip the parking at the events, there will be $1 bus fares on all routes on Canada Day. Passengers can also choose to donate a non-perishable food item to the Salvation Army instead of the special $1 fare.
