Suspects Charged After Stolen Heavy Equipment Recovered

PRINCE GEORGE – Two men from Edson, Alberta were arrested last Friday after local RCMP recovered heavy equipment that was reported stolen.

Police received the report that a stolen semi-truck pulling a flatbed trailer with a bulldozer, was seen on Highway 16, coming into Prince George.

Officers located the truck along 1st Avenue and after pulling over, the suspects were arrested without any trouble.

Darren Robert Kelly, 45, and Grenville Clarke, 29, have both been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by a crime over $5000. Kelly has also been charged with possession of break-in instruments.
