PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Golf and Curling Club is evolving, developing a partnership with neighbouring recreation facilities.  Out of it comes Play PG and it’s events calendar.

The calendar will list events planned among the organizations that are set up along RecPlace Drive.  That includes the Golf and Curling Club, the Overhang Climbing Gym, the Tennis Club and the Roll-a-Dome.

James Cronk, the acting General Manager of the Golf and Curling Club announced the partnership Wednesday morning.  He says the organizations have found people have already begun to visit the area and participate and more than one facility before leaving.  “We currently do have some groups and some kids camps where they’ll go rock climbing for an hour and play tennis for an hour.”  He added,  “there’s lots of opportunities for us and our PlayPG partners to continue to grow that.”

The calendar is online at PlayPG.ca.
