Koehler Not Running For Third Term

Another City Councillor has announced he is dropping out of the civic election race.
Albert Koehler says the decision was not an easy one and he has been considering his future in civic politics for several weeks.
In the end, Koehler says he looked at many different factors, including his “bucket list.”

“My bucket list does not seem to get shorter when it comes to travel, building a cottage and more time for various projects and activities,” he writes. “My wife is planning to retire and we would like to have more time for doing things together.”

Koehler served seven years on City Council.
