Suspects Charged After Stolen Property Recovered

PRINCE GEORGE – As part of an ongoing theft investigation, the Prince George RCMP arrested three individuals at a makeshift camp south of Bear Lake.

Police seized a number of items known to be stolen including tires, a canoe, pressure washer, air compressor and brush saw. The items were stolen from a variety of locations in Prince George and Wells areas.

Fort St. James resident, Devon Andrew Jacobs, 33, has been charged with four counts of the theft under $5000, possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5000 and two counts of driving while disqualified. Thirty-three year old, Fort St. James resident, Jamie Curtis Williamson has been charged with possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000 and uttering threats. Naomi Lynn Mullen, 18, Quesnel resident has been charged with four counts of theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. Jacobs will appear in court today, while the others were released for court at later dates.
