PRINCE GEORGE – Berm, Bunny Hop and Dialed In. These may be some terms and jargon that may soon be heard at the new bike park in Beaverly. After hundreds of work bee hours from community volunteers, they have turned a condemned baseball diamond into a new bike park. Donations from many companies helped bring the project together. On Saturday, October 6th, Beaverly Community Association will open the park and host an inaugural Bike Park Rodeo. The newest bike park is located west of the City on South Heights Road. Admission is $10 or 1 hour of work. Work will begin at 1 pm and involves rock picking and/or raking. The track will be open to bikes at 3 pm with the rodeo starting at 3:30 pm.
