New Strategy for Project Based Learning in Elementary Schools

The Prince George School District has annouced a new strategy to deliver project based learning at an elementary level.  A 20 foot cargo trailer was purchased and outfitted with age appropriate tools that students grades three to seven will be able to use to build projects. The trailer will be positioned at elementary schools throughout the district so all students get the opportunity to enhance their skill sets. 

The new addition will support students in gaining knowledge and skills in the new Applied Design Skills and Technologies curriculum. The curriculum currently has a hands on approach to learning through design and creation.
