B.C. Minimum Wage Goes Up Friday

VICTORIA – As of Friday, June 1st, the minimum wage will be increased to $12.65 an hour in B.C.

Liquor servers will receive a $1.30/hour increase, which will make their wage $11.40 an hour.

Resident caretakers who manage nine to 60 units will receive an increase, making their minimum wage $759.32 per month.

Caretakers that manage 61 or more units will be making $2,586.40 a month.
