PRINCE GEORGE – The newest show from Miracle Theatre is “The Fabulous Lipitones”, which premieres Friday at ArtSpace. All of the proceeds will go to United Way to aid in the fight against poverty and homelessness in Prince George.

The goal is to raise 60 thousand dollars.

This is the first time this comedy is running in Canada and Producer Anne Laughlin says the playwrights have been following the Canadian production closely, regularly emailing her for updates.

The show touches on some topical themes of inclusion and immigration.

“It’s about someone coming, who is a little bit different to a community, and a group of people encounter this individual and they’ve got to decide whether this person is going to be totally included or is going to be kept at a distance,” says Director Ted Price.

The show runs nightly (except Mondays) from March 2 – 18.
