Another Drop In The Jobless Rate In Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE- Another strong showing on the jobs front in Prince George last month . Over 51 thousand people were working , up by 3 thousand compared to a year ago, with the jobless rate dropping to 5.4 percent from 6.3 in April of  2017 .BC’s jobless rate is still  the lowest in the country at 5 percent  last month , while  the  national rate has held  steady  at  5.8 percent  for the past  three  months.
