Ritchie Bros Closing in Prince George

In order to grow their online presence, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (RBA) is closing its Prince George location. As of December 31, 2017, their Prince George location along with four other smaller sites will be closed. 

Ravi Saligram, CEO of Ritchie Bros, believes that by focusing on the larger locations and online strategy, they’ll be able to strengthen their company for years to come. Saligram adds that more RBA customers are buying and selling online, along with attending events at the bigger locations. 

It’s unclear how many people will be affected by job losses in Prince George.
