Carnage Produced By Alleged Drunk Driver

A 53 year old city woman has been charged with impaired driving after allegedly blowing nearly three times the legal limit in a breathalyzer test. 

Mounties say the woman was driving a pickup that collided with several vehicles, barriers and even buildings Tuesday afternoon around 4:00pm.  The incident took place near Alward Street and Laurier Crescent. 

A witness managed to remove the keys from the vehicle once it had stopped.  There were no serious injuries in the incident.

The woman was issued a driving prohibition and has a court date set for January.
