Man Charged for Stolen Vehicle and Fleeing from Police

Local RCMP have arrested a 31-year-old Edmonton man early Wednesday morning. 

After fleeing a traffic stop with a stolen vehicle, the man was seen driving recklessly along Ospika Boulevard at high speeds.  

A Ford F350 truck was later found abandoned in an alley between Victoria and Quince Street. The suspect was only less than a block away before taken into custody. According to police, the Ford F350 is a common vehicle to be stolen in the city.
