Child Finds Pencil Sharpener in Halloween Candy

After a night of trick-or-treating, a School District 57 student discovered a pencil sharpener blade in a small chocolate bar. The child was attending houses along Ospika Boulevard between Ferry Avenue and Rainbow Drive.
School District 57 reported the incident to local RCMP this afternoon. The child was not harmed.
As always, police recommend throwing out any treats with damaged packaging, sliced fruit or anything homemade.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers or the Prince George RCMP.
