Donation jar stolen in Quesnel

QUESNEL — Mounties in Quesnel are investigating the theft of a donation jar.

RCMP Sgt. Chris Riddle says police were notified of the theft just after 10:30 a.m. yesterday (April 28) from the A&W restaurant located at 3850 Highway 97 North.

“It is alleged a male and female exited the store with the donation jar,” he says. “Police believe there may be witnesses to this event and are asking anyone who was in or near the restaurant during this time and witnessed this theft, to please contact the Quesnel RCMP at (250) 992-9211.”
