UPDATE: Power restored to thousands of BC Hydro customers

PRINCE GEORGE —UPDATE: According to BC Hydro, power has been restored to all affected customers.

EARLIER: Over 9,300 BC Hydro customers in Prince George are currently without power.

The majority of the outages have occurred in the Hart, Salmon Valley and areas near Nukko Lake.

BC Hydro is blaming the outages on a transmission circuit failure.
