PRINCE GEORGE — Angus is the first dog of its kind in North America. He sniffs out C. diff, an infection commonly spread in hospitals that causes acute diarrhea. He’s been part of a program that visits health authorities in BC to find spores of the infection so they can be cleaned up. Angus is in the Northern Health authority for the first time now but it is expected he will make trips every three or four months moving forward.
