‘Junk in the Trunk’ has another high turnout

PRINCE GEORGE— It’s garage sale season in Prince George. ‘Junk in the Trunk’ kicked off the season with it’s bi-annual event today (May 11) hosted by REAPS.

While many were looking to make a few bucks, others were looking to get rid of things that would be of better use to someone else.

Vendors says the turnout is much higher than a typical garage sale.

REAPS aims to reduce waste and increase waste avoidance in the city. Junk in the Trunk is one way people can help with sustainability in Prince George- something many in the city are already trying to do.
