Quesnel-born coach named to Canada WJC staff

Canada’s 2020 World Junior Championship team will feature a coach born in Quesnel. Mitch Love, who currently coaches the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades, has been named an assistant coach with the National Junior team. He’s no stranger to the international stage, coaching at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge multiple times, and the Hlinka Gretzky Cup last year. Love says that familiarity will work wonders in a tournament as compact as the World Juniors.
