The Prince George PeeWee Knights also got their season off to a hot start this past weekend in Kamloops, winning the River City Tournament. In game 1 of the tournament, Nolan Peterson’s RBI triple started the team on the right foot. They’d end up going 5-1 over the weekend, including an 11-10 comeback win in the final thanks to Thorne Fox knocking in 2 runs and scoring in the seventh to give the team the win. Coaches Justin McLean and Kory Williams will take the team to two more tournaments in Kelowna and Kamloops in July before provincials in August.
