Victims and Survivors of Crime Week highlights the power of collaboration

PRINCE GEORGE — Three victims services units have banded together to recognize Victims and Survivors of Crime Week in Prince George.

It kicked off with an event at the South Fort George Family Resource Centre Centre Monday.

This year’s theme centres around the power of collaboration.

Victim services units support victims of crime throughout the often harrowing events surrounding a tragedy or trauma by providing crisis intervention, emotional support and information about the criminal justice system.
