Kids of Steel race turns 25

The annual Kids of Steel Triathlon went this weekend up at the Aquatic Centre, for year number 25. It was another great turnout in the triathlon, with finishers ranging from 3-year-old Cienna Tobler to 64-year-old Karen Marie La Fleur. There was a high number of adult participants and under-7 year olds, who utilized pedal bikes, push bikes, and scooters for the bike portion of the race. Rob Millar and Marika Jurgens were the winners in the 20+ category, having to swim 750 metres, bike 20 kilometres, and run 5 k to finish it off.
