PRINCE GEORGE- You may want to call it a copy cat agreement. The City of Prince George has renewed a rental agreement with the Prince George Cougars. The agreement keeps the Cougars as the number one tenant in the large facility. The deal is based on a revenue sharing arrangement rather than a flat rate for rent. The hockey club will also be providing $50 000 per year to the City from the proceeds of advertising. The area holds close to 6000 seats and hosts 34 regular-season Cougars games per year. According to the Mayor extending the Cats lives at the arena is a win for the community.
