Pepper Tree Hair and Studio closes storefront in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day
PRINCE GEORGE–Pepper Tree Hair and Studio Owner, Shannon Wright closed her store front for the day on Friday, June 21 to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Events were held throughout the country in celebration of Indigenous culture. Wright is no stranger to the event, as a matter of fact she has been an avid participant, but this year she wanted to try something different.
“This year we wanted to come out with our business as well. So we shut the salon down to come here and celebrate with our team so they can come see what the awesome celebration is all about.”– Shannon Wright, Owner of Pepper Tree Hair and Studio
None of Wrights appointments were cancelled for the day, as she always books the day off and her staff were happy to take the day off to learn, and participate in Indigenous dances, songs, food, and activities.
