PRINCE GEORGE— The Annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Charity Golf Tournament brought together over 30 alumni to the Prince George Golf and Curling Club.

The sold-out tournament raises money for the Spirit of the North, with this year’s funding going towards a new cardiac ultra-sound machine.

Recent Cougar alumni Josh Curtis was attending and says some of the players have better game on the ice than they do on the greens. But, the fun event isn’t just for fun, it’s for a good cause.

“It’s great raising money for medical equipment here in PG,” Curtis says. “It’s a little bit different of a feeling compared to being a player. It’s nice being back and seeing Prince George in the summer. It’s beautiful.”
