PRINCE GEORGE– Last night’s storm might have kept your cat or dog, or even you awake past your bedtime.

And with storms come outages, according to BC Hydro there was a total of 2,700 customers without power in the Prince George. Bob Gammer, with BC Hydro says that the outages were not located in one specific area, they were spread across the city.

Gammer says that Prince George has seen worse storms in the past, with some leaving around 10,000 customers without power. He wants to remind the public to be wary of fallen power lines after a storm, “call 9-1-1, and then call us…we don’t want people touching the line. Assume it’s still live, and that way we can get the experts in to deal with that line.”
