Thunderbirds fastball gets Biggar and better bronze

Wrapping up the weekend results, we have one more team on the big stage, coming home with hardware. Now, it’s not the colour they were hoping for but coming back from Westerns with a bronze medal is quite impressive. The Prince George U16 Thunderbirds fastball team was in Biggar, Saskatchewan over the weekend and came out of the round robin with a second place finish, going 4-4 throughout the tournament. They lost two playoff games but still managed a win in the bronze medal game to wrap up their season.
