11 drivers ticketed for impaired driving-related offences

PRINCE GEORGE — It appears some motorists are still not understanding the dangers of drinking and driving.

Over the weekend, the Prince George RCMP pulled over 11 drivers for drinking and driving offences – including five 90 day immediate roadside prohibitions, four 3 day prohibitions and two 24 hour driving prohibitions.

The RCMP did so by targeting two local events – a music festival on Ospika Boulevard and a drag racing event on Chief Lake Road.

Another motorist had their vehicle impounded for seven days for excessive speeding.
