Parade to temporarily close highway through Hixon

HIXON, B.C. — Motorists beware: a special event will close Highway 97 through Hixon tomorrow (Aug.17) morning.

According to Drive BC, the Hixon Parade will close the highway from about 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The parade will close the highway from Hixon Sub Road to Parenteau Road.

No detours will be available.
