O’Rourke becomes Director of Player Development for the Cougars

PRINCE GEORGE–A new position for the former Associate Coach of the Prince George Cougars.
Steve O’Rourke has been hired as the teams Director of Player Development after three seasons as the teams Associate Coach. General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb says that they “feel Steve’s experience in skill development makes him the perfect fit for this role within our team and hockey community in Northern B.C.”
O’Rourke will assist in development of Cougars players, including signed and listed prospects. He will also have a lead role in developing local players and minor coaches through skills programs and clinics.
