PRINCE GEORGE — An overwhelming response from the public to a case of animal cruelty in Prince George.

The North Cariboo SPCA says about $15,000 was raised over the weekend to cover the emergency vet costs of a little dog staff have named Falcor.

Falcor came to the SPCA with a severe open wound on his back. The little Pekingese was rushed for immediate vet care and it’s still unclear whether or not Falcor will survive.

Unfortunately, the SPCA says this is not an isolated incident.
