PRINCE GEORGE–The annual Black vs White Cougars intra-squad game was played on Tuesday (Aug.28) night.
Team Black beat team White 5-3, claiming the Rob Charney Cup. Going into the second period the teams were both tied 1-1, but not for long as Jack Sander would score at 1:18 into the second period, followed by team White, and then three more goals by team Black. Team Black led 5-2 for 40 minutes before team White would score, one last time.
Prior to the game Tyson Upper and Jack Sander were announced co-winners of the Mountain Lion Fitness award, an award handed out annually to the top performer from the Cougar’s Training Camp fitness testing.
