Cocaine, cash and cars seized in Edmonton with ties to PG

EDMONTON– Edmonton’s Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) organized crime gang team arrested three people earlier this month, with ties to Prince George, resulting in the seizure of cocaine, cash and even two BMW’s.
28-year-old Matthew Bailey of Kelowna, 22-year-old Morgan De La Ronde also from Kelowna and 26-year-ol Devon Burtch from Kamloops were arrested and charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and possession of a prohibited device.
The organized crime gang team seized 4.8 kilograms of cocaine, $16,380 in cash, two prohibited handgun magazines and two BMW vehicles.
The accused have been charged for similar offenses in Prince George.
