More curtailments to pulp mill

PRINCE GEORGE – More downtime for a local pulp mill.
Canfor informed its employees at Canfor’s PG Pulp and Paper Mill will be down for 2 weeks following its previously scheduled turnaround maintenance.
The turnaround runs from Sept 14 to 22. A Canfor spokesperson says the mill will stay down until October 7, adding this is due to weak demand and low prices for Unbleached Kraft pulp and Kraft paper.
