Female pedestrian critically injured in collision

PRINCE GEORGE–A woman was taken to hospital with critical injuries following a pedestrian involved collision early last night on Patricia Boulevard just east of Victoria Street. The driver and several witnesses remained on scene . The vehicle was seized . The pedestrian was wearing all black clothing and tried to cross between intersections at the time of the collision.It was also dark and raining heavily at the time. Speed is not believed to be a factor . The investigation is continuing. Prince George RCMP and ICBC recently launched a pedestrian safety campaign ,reminding both pedestrians and drivers to look out for each other.
