Witnesses sought in Terrace assault case

TERRACE — Mounties in Terrace are seeking witnesses following an assault on Park Avenue that sent one man to hospital last night (Oct.24).

Cst. Crystal Evelyn says at around 8:20 p.m. police were called to the 4600 block of Park Avenue for a report of a man bleeding from his head.

“Upon arrival, police located a man who said he had been assaulted with a knife by multiple people. The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”

She says police later located and arrested three people as part of an ongoing investigation. The assault is believed to have occurred on the 4500 block of Park Avenue.
