Water main break at 3rd and Victoria

UPDATE: The section of 3rd Avenue between Victoria Street and Brunswick Street has reopened to vehicular traffic.

PRINCE GEORGE — A water main break has City of Prince George crews busy.

The break occurred last night (Nov.14) at 3rd Avenue and Victoria Street, in front of the Canadian Western Bank.

The city says it’s believed that the failure occurred in a large, cast iron water pipe installed in 1956.
