Morris rips Bains over question period exchange

PRINCE GEORGE — One BC Liberal is questioning the NDP government’s commitment to northern B.C. following an exchange in question period this week.

It centred around Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond’s question to Labour Minister Harry Bains, asking him what he planned to do to help end the strike at UNBC.

Bains confused the question, thinking Bond was asking about UBC.

Though Bains later apologized for the mistake, Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris says it’s proof the BC NDP don’t care about northern B.C.
