RCMP seek help finding fraudster

PRINCE GEORGE —Mounties are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect they say was involved in a case of identity theft and fraud in August.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says an unknown suspect defrauded a local bank of thousands of dollars using the identity of a Port Coquitlam man. He says substantial withdrawals were made in Prince George, Quesnel and Williams Lake.

He says investigators believe that this suspect travels between communities and has committed similar offences before. He may have ties to the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland.

The suspect is described as:
