Operation Red Nose ready for opening weekend

PRINCE GEORGE–Operation Red Nose officially launches into its 22nd season this weekend . Once again ,volunteers are ready to help keep Prince George safe this holiday season, offering rides home to party-goers every weekend through to New Years Eve. Those who need a ride home can call 250-962-RIDE (7433) between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. You must have a vehicle with valid B.C. license plates. Donations that Operation Red Nose receives from clients stay in Prince George and goes directly to local youth and amateur sport organizations. So far, 165 people have signed up to volunteer ,with more still needed .You can apply online at ornpg.ca
