PRINCE GEORGE – An Air Quality Advisory for Prince George due to high concentrations of fine particulate matter (PM2.5).

The advisory was issued by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy in collaboration with Northern Health.

Exposure to fine particulate matter is of particular concern for infants, the elderly and those who have diabetes, and lung or heart disease. It’s recommended that anyone with chronic underlying medical conditions postpone strenuous exercise until the advisory is lifted.
