Social issues to dominate special council meeting

PRINCE GEORGE — Tonight’s (Dec.2) your chance to provide feedback to Prince George City Council as it grapples with social issues affecting the downtown core.

The City, RCMP and Northern Health are also expected to make presentations though the Prince George Chamber of Commerce will not.

In a letter last week the Chamber said that not enough notice was given for them to discuss their policy recommendations following a meeting they held with its members last month.

Instead, the chamber has requested a chance to speak at council’s public meeting on December 16th.
