Quesnel RCMP say there’s ‘zero tolerance’ for those who don’t stop for school buses

QUESNEL–RCMP have sent out a release saying that there is “zero tolerance for drivers that fail to stop for school buses.”
Quesnel RCMP say that there have been several near-miss incidents reported to the police, some even including dashcam video from buses. “There really is no excuse any violators can be providing that would justify receiving a warning for this. As such, enforcement action will be taken when warranted,” said Cpl. Serge Bruneau of the North District Traffic Services in Quesnel.
Failing to stop for a school bus could land you with a $368 fine and three demerit points. Anyone who witnesses a vehicle failing to stop for a bus, or committing any other traffic violation is asked to contact local RCMP.
