Gauthier shines as Cougars shutout Giants

LANGLEY, B.C. — Taylor Gauthier backstopped the Prince George Cougars to a 3-0 shutout of the Vancouver Giants in Langley last night.

Gauthier made 32 saves for his first shutout of the season. Josh Maser scored twice and Rhett Rhinehart had the other.

The win snapped a seven-game losing streak on the road stretching all the way back to October 27.

The Cougars are back on the ice December 27 in Everett.
