Regional District issues permit for Trans Mountain work camp

VALEMOUNT — The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George (RDFFG) has issued a temporary use permit for a Trans Mountain work camp near Valemount.

The RDFFG says the camp will consist of temporary ATCO trailers – containing dorms, kitchens, and recreation rooms – and parking.

The camp will house about 600 people with the capability to expand to 900 people.
