PRINCE GEORGE — It was a busy year for School District 57 as they went trough some changes and growth.

Communication has been at the forefront of School District 57 as Board Chair, Tim Bennett says they’ve spent much of the past year working to enhance their ability in engaging with their staff, students, as well as parents. They’re also celebrating continued success in the number of students completing their secondary education.

The year also saw the changing of the guard in respect to the superintendent position following the retirement of Marilyn Marquis-Forster and the decision to hire Anita Richardson.

With the year nearing its end, 2020 will bring with it a number of things for the School District to look forward to, highlighted by the highly anticipated opening of the new Kelly Road Secondary School.
