Christmas Grinch: Man arrested for break and enters on Christmas Eve

QUESNEL–A Quesnel man has been arrested for a break and enter spree on Christmas Eve.

On Dec.24 at around 4:07 a.m. RCMP responded to an alarm at the South Quesnel Liquor Store. 20 minutes later and another alarm was set off from a Shell gas station, only four minutes after that a third alarm sounded. The last one at Canadian Tire, police confirmed that all three businesses had been victims to a break and enter.

Police flooded the area and located a man walking behind a neighbouring business. RCMP linked the man to the man to the break and enters from all three scenes and arrested him.

A quick response from the police led to a timely arrest and the recovery of stolen property during this event said Sgt. Weseen. I think the man responsible just made the naughty list for his Christmas Eve antics.”
