Cariboo Cougars advance to semi-finals at Mac’s tournament

CALGARY — The Cariboo Cougars finished the Macs Midget tournament round robin with a 3-1 record and advanced to the Quarter-Finals to play a familiar foe.

The Cats tangled with the Okanagan Rockets in the Quarter-Finals. It was a back and forth contest between the two BC rivals, but in the end it would be the Cougars advancing to the Semi’s thanks to a 4-3 win.

Brennan Bott scored a pair, while Alex Ochitwa and Fisher Obrian added the others in the victory.

The club now take on the Calgary Buffalos in the semi-final tonight at 6 p.m.
