Canada finishes 1st in pool

Team Canada wrapped up the round robin against host Czech Republic and if you liked goals, you probably enjoyed this one. Canada scored four power play goals in the opening frame and five in total in a 7-2 rout of the host Czechs. The win lifts the Canadians to first place in their pool with a 2-1 record and now the stage is set for the Quarter-Finals which will begin on Thursday. Canada will take on Slovakia, Sweden meets the Czechs, The United States will battle Finland, and Switzerland will tangle with Russia.
